About Colin Dunlop

Colin Dunlop is a British engineer and business executive who has lived and worked in Bolivia for more than three decades.

A graduate of Cambridge University with a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London, Colin began his career with Schlumberger, where he spent 15 years working internationally in the oil and gas industry.

He subsequently held senior management positions in Bolivia, including Maintenance Manager at Transredes and General Manager of Serpetbol, developing extensive experience across the country’s energy and industrial sectors.

Today, Colin focuses on identifying and developing opportunities where international capital, experienced operators and specialist technical expertise can create value in Bolivia. His work combines technical understanding, commercial judgement and a long-established network of relationships across the Bolivian and international energy industry.
